The Cody Brinkley Scholarship
Cody Brinkley was a lot of things, a friend, son, father, and brother. Cody was a phenomenal athlete that set multiple high school track records and helped lead his football team to the state championship game in 2005. He was also a classic truck aficionado, a skilled mechanic, and an inspired artist.
More important than who Cody was is what he did. Cody brought open-mindedness, warmth, laughter, love, and friendship to those that were a part of his life. Whether he realized it or not, Cody changed the lives of those around him and made this world a better place.
To honor his memory, The Cody Brinkley Foundation was formed as an Idaho 501(c)(3) non-profit to fund an annual scholarship that will be awarded to one or more students in the McCall-Donnelly School District each year. The scholarship award recipients, whether they plan on attending a four-year university or a trade school, will all have one thing in common, a resemblance to Cody’s spirit.
