Meet Our 2024 Scholarship Recipient: Jack Duncan

Jack Duncan embodies the passion, dedication, and work ethic that the Cody Brinkley Foundation was created to honor. Growing up on a cattle ranch in Valley County, Idaho, Jack developed a deep-rooted love for agriculture and a strong sense of responsibility—qualities that set him apart as a standout applicant for this year’s scholarship.

A multi-sport athlete, Jack earned varsity letters in football, basketball, and track & field all four years of high school, making multiple state tournament appearances. He also took on leadership roles as treasurer of his local FFA chapter and an active member of 4H, where he raised a steer. His senior project, a complete restoration of a vintage John Deere tractor, showcased not only his mechanical skills but also his appreciation for craftsmanship, mirroring Cody’s own love for vintage auto restoration.

Jack is now pursuing a degree in agriculture at the College of Southern Idaho, where he serves as an agricultural ambassador, furthering his commitment to the industry. His long-term goal is to own and operate his own ranch, providing high-quality cattle to his local community. Jack’s qualities and commitment to making a lasting impact truly reflect Cody’s legacy.

We are proud to support Jack on his journey and look forward to seeing the incredible contributions he will make in the future.
